Help with Adobe reader.

Hi all,

Does anyone know about Adobe reader? I can't get mine to work properly. I try to read something, and it keeps reading me letters and symbols, not what I'm trying to read. I have Adobe version 9.1. Can anyone help?

Is this a really old PDF file from a few years ago or so? sometimes I find that really old PDF documents can't be read. Also another issue is that the pdf file from a scan that is vertical instead of horizontal. Thats is the text goes from top to bottom instead of left to right. To fix that try rotating the PDF in reader. Also I use a Firefox plug in called PDF Download that allows me to view PDF as web pages which seem to get around some of the issues with using reader.
